Detecting your system…

Installing on macOS

  1. Download the .zip and double-click to unzip.
  2. Drag PriceSmartPro into your Applications folder.
  3. Double-click to launch. macOS will show: "PriceSmartPro can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software." — click Done (or Cancel). Do NOT click "Move to Trash".
  4. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll to the Security section, and click "Open Anyway" next to the PriceSmartPro message.
  5. Launch the app again and click "Open" on the final confirmation. You only do this once.

Installing on Windows

  1. Download the .zip and extract it anywhere (e.g. Documents).
  2. Open the folder and double-click PriceSmartPro.exe.
  3. If SmartScreen appears: click More info → Run anyway.

Faster macOS fix (Terminal — 1 command)

If you'd rather skip the Privacy & Security dance, open Terminal and paste this. It removes the quarantine flag macOS adds to Safari downloads:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/PriceSmartPro.app

Then double-click the app normally — no warning, no extra clicks.

Desktop app — public beta

Current release: v1.0.0-beta · Jul 2026. The macOS Gatekeeper prompt is standard for apps distributed outside the Mac App Store. Apple Developer ID signing & notarization for macOS and EV code signing for Windows are on our near-term roadmap; once shipped, the warnings go away entirely. If you'd rather skip desktop for now, the web app at pricesmartpro.com has the full feature set.

  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add — the icon now lives on your home screen like any native app.

  1. Open pricesmartpro.com in Chrome.
  2. Tap the menu⋮and chooseInstall app.
  3. Confirm Install — done.

No app store, no review queue. The mobile install is a Progressive Web App — same login, same data, same speed as the desktop builds. An installable Android .apk is in the pipeline for offline-first use.
